Well were about 4 and a bit weeks into our current project. We have had a busy 2 weeks, knocking down walls, laying concrete screeds, constructing new brick and block work, and finally having the beautiful oak frame delivered this week.
Have a look at the pictures to see the progress, finishing off with the oak frame erection.
Just starting the removal of the roof from the current extension
We like to keep a clean site, so when we have limited space we tidy as we go
More cleaning, but its a good shot of the floor screed we put down, bringing our finished floor level up to match that of the screed in the current extension. ready for the real oak flooring to go down.
Removing the tiles to see how much of the roof joists we'l need to cut back to receive our cut roof.

The first timbers of the frame being craned over the house! scary stuff!
The 25 tonne crane sat in the drive, great piece of kit!

Uprights and supporting beams going in. All tied together with Tenon joints and then pegged.
End of the day, Purlins, Gallow beams and uprights all in.
